Meet your Coach
Tyler Anderson is a seasoned endurance sports athlete with over a decade of racing under his belt. Tyler has competed at an elite level in triathlon, Xterra, mountain bike racing, marathon, and half marathon. Within triathlon, Tyler competes in Ironman 140.6, Ironman 70.3, Olympic and Sprint distance. Tyler is a 3x Ironman 140.6 and 12x Ironman 70.3 athlete. He has qualified and raced in 3 Ironman 70.3 World Championships.
Tyler is attending Elon University for a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He is involved with Elon’s Sport Performance Program working with Elon University student athletes. With this background and his experience in sport, Tyler’s coaching is well-rounded to any endurance sport and focused on performance and injury prevention.
Tyler’s knowledge and experience around training design, nutrition and fueling, recovery and cross-functional training and strength helps athletes to grow and develop as athletes and as human beings to achieve their goals on and off the race course.
Tyler is a Maryland native who spent the last 13 years living and training in Colorado. He recently relocated to North Carolina to pursue his doctorate program and continues to train and race at an elite AG level. Prior to endurance sports, Tyler played Ice Hockey competitively from age 5 through college.
